Terms of Service

Last updated 8 October 2026

The short version. Fourteen days free on the analysis, no card asked for. After that it is $6 a month or $60 a year. Cancel whenever you like and it stops at your next charge date — nothing further is taken. What you upload stays yours.

1. The agreement

These terms are between you and SectorLoom, of Virginia, United States ("we", "us"). Creating an account means you accept them. If you do not, do not create one.

2. Who may use SectorLoom

You must be at least 13. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must read and agree to these terms on your behalf and is responsible for any payment. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what happens under your account.

3. What the service is

SectorLoom reads the telemetry files your racing simulator writes and presents them for analysis; it also provides tools for organising a team. It is an aid to your own judgement, not an authority. The coach's scores, the theoretical best, the fuel and tyre estimates and the corner readings are all calculated from your data using heuristics that can be wrong, and iRacing does not report some things at all. Nothing here is a guarantee that you will get quicker.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, LLC, Studio 397, Motorsport Games, or any other simulator, game, team or championship. Their names are used only to say what SectorLoom works with.

4. The free trial

New accounts get 14 days of the telemetry analysis, the coach, setups and the garage, without a card. Teams, the driver board and messaging are not part of the trial, because they put you in touch with other drivers; those need a membership from the first day. One trial per person.

5. Membership, billing and cancelling

6. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time, from the billing page Stripe provides or by writing to our support address.

Cancelling takes effect at your next charge date. Nothing further is taken, and your membership stays active until that date, so you keep what you have already paid for to the end of the period. We do not refund periods that have already been charged.

If you were charged in error, tell us and we will put it right. And where the law of your own country gives you a stronger right to cancel or be refunded, that law wins over this section.

7. What you upload stays yours

Your telemetry, setups, messages and anything else you put into SectorLoom belong to you. You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store it, process it, show it back to you, and show it to the people you deliberately share it with. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

We do not use your driving data to train anything, publish it, or hand it to anyone else. We may use aggregate counts that identify nobody — how many sessions were uploaded in a month, say.

8. Using it reasonably

Do not: upload anything you do not have the right to upload; try to reach another driver's data; probe, attack or overload the service; use it to harass anybody, including through team messages; resell access or share one account between several people; or scrape the site.

Teams, rosters and the driver board are places where other people can see what you write. Be civil. We may remove content and close accounts for behaviour that is abusive or illegal.

9. Availability

We try to keep SectorLoom up and we have no planned downtime, but it is a small operation and we do not promise an uptime figure. We may change, suspend or stop features. If we ever shut the service down we will give at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your data, and refund the unused part of anything you have paid.

10. Keep your own copies

We take care with your data, but you should keep your original .ibt files. SectorLoom is not a backup service and we are not liable for lost telemetry.

11. Ending it

You can stop using SectorLoom whenever you like and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will say why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.

12. Warranties and liability

SectorLoom is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, or for any decision you make on the strength of what the app shows you. Our total liability to you, for everything, is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and if your own consumer law gives you rights these terms cannot take away, it wins.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters we will say so on the site and update the date at the top, and for a change that materially reduces what you get we will give 30 days' notice. Carrying on using SectorLoom after a change means you accept it.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, and the courts there have jurisdiction — except where the law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring a claim closer to home.
